Problem:  Lines in the Picture

With a VCR Connected

1. Make sure the VCR is plugged into a power outlet.  Shut off the VCR. If the problem clears up, the VCR is not properly fine tuned.
2. If you have a converter box, make sure the VCR is on Channel 3.
3. The VCR may not be fine tuned to Channel 3. Locate and adjust the fine tuning mechanism until the picture is clear.
4. The ch 3/ch 4 switch may be in the wrong position.  Locate the switch on the back of  the VCR and make sure it is on ch 3.

Without a VCR Connected

1. The TV fine tuning may be out of adjustment. Locate and adjust the fine tuning mechanism until the picture is clear.
2. You may have a loose or damaged fitting inside your home. Be sure the fittings are  securely crimped to the wires and hand tighten each fitting connected to each piece of equipment.
