Problem: Lines in the Picture

With a VCR Connected |
|
1. |
Make sure the VCR is plugged into a power outlet.
Shut off the VCR. If the problem clears
up, the VCR is not properly fine tuned. |

2. |
If you have a converter box, make sure the VCR is on Channel 3. |
|
3. |
The VCR may not be fine tuned to Channel 3. Locate and adjust the fine
tuning mechanism until the picture is clear. |
|
4. |
The ch 3/ch 4 switch may be in the wrong position. Locate the switch on the back of
the VCR and
make sure it is on ch 3. |
|
Without a VCR Connected |
|
1. |
The TV fine tuning may be out of adjustment. Locate and adjust the fine
tuning mechanism until the picture is clear. |
|
2. |
You may have a loose or damaged fitting inside your home. Be sure the
fittings are
securely crimped to the wires and hand tighten each fitting connected to each piece of equipment. |
