Problem:  Black Screen

With a VCR  or DIGITAL RECEIVER Connected

1.  Make sure the VCR is off.  If the problem clears up, the VCR was in "VCR" mode.
2. If you have a converter box, make sure the VCR is on Channel 3.
   

Without a VCR or DIGITAL RECEIVER Connected

1. Some newer TV’s provide a black (or blue) screen instead of all snow.  Check all connections and other components.
